- In the baby carrier, ensure that the child's airways are always clear of the fabric and that air circulates well around it. Face always visible to the wearer. Dress baby accordingly, especially if it is hot, and take into account the fabric of the scarf as a garment, as well as your body heat (37°). Cover the extremities (head, feet) to protect them from the sun or cold. The wearer must also dress accordingly, favoring natural and simple materials in contact with the baby. Generally speaking, it is better to carry your baby on a T-shirt or a thin sweater and dress over the baby carrier (vest, jacket, carrying clothing that you can easily put on or take off without having to remove the baby carrier, depending on the temperature). Moisturize regularly if it is hot and be careful in the sun. In all positions, ensure that the baby can freely move his head, which must be in line with his spine. Be attentive to the child's signals and behavior: respond to their needs and make the necessary adjustments in terms of position. Avoid lying down, with the baby lying on his back at the bottom of the fabric. Prefer the "sitting sideways" position. Generally speaking, choose upright positions to move around and be on the move. If your child suffers from RGO, it is best to avoid lying down positions because they promote reflux (use upright positions, even for breastfeeding). Baby's head should always be outside the carrier, with their nose and mouth clear. Avoid baby carriers where all of the baby's weight rests on the crotch.
- Use from 7 kg to 15 kg. From 6 months minimum for children who can sit up unaided. The child must be at "kissing height". The laces allow for precise adjustment and optimal support. Adjust them during each use for maximum comfort and safety. With the nose and chin free of any obstacles, your child should be able to breathe without hindrance. This is the child's natural position: rounded back, tilted pelvis, knees at hip height.
