contact us

your order

who am I buying from?

From Tummy Time GmbH, Im Chrummacher 7, 8706 Meilen, Switzerland, company number CHE-179.104.580.

when is my order confirmed?

When we send you the order confirmation by email: that is when the contract is concluded. If a product turns out to be unavailable, or the price shown was an obvious error, we tell you before shipping and refund anything you paid in full.

who can order?

Anyone aged 18 or over, consumers and businesses. We may refuse orders that look like resale.

can I cancel my order?

Yes, as long as it hasn't shipped: from your customer account or by email.

do I need a customer account?

No, you can order with or without one. If you have an account, keep your login details safe and tell us if you think someone else has used it.

prices & payment

do your prices include VAT?

For Switzerland and Liechtenstein, prices are in Swiss francs and include Swiss VAT. For other countries, prices are shown in your local currency, without Swiss VAT. Shipping costs are shown before you pay.

when and how do I pay?

When you order, with one of the methods shown at checkout: cards, TWINT, PayPal, Klarna, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay or a gift card.

how do gift cards and discount codes work?

Gift cards can be used on tummytime.ch and cannot be exchanged for cash. Discount codes are valid as stated in the offer, one code per order unless stated otherwise, and cannot be applied to past orders.

delivery

are delivery times guaranteed?

No, they are estimates. We ship with Swiss Post; times and costs are in our shipping policy.

who carries the risk if a parcel is lost?

We do, until your order is delivered to you.

do I pay import duties?

Outside Switzerland and Liechtenstein, yes: you pay import duties and taxes on delivery. Exception, United States: they are charged at checkout.

returns & warranty

can I return an item?

Yes, within 30 days of delivery. In Switzerland this is a voluntary promise from us. If you live in the EU or EEA, including Liechtenstein, you also have a 14-day statutory right of withdrawal. Details are in our refund policy.

what warranty do I have?

The statutory warranty of 2 years from delivery. Tell us as soon as you notice a defect, ideally within 2 months, with your order number and a photo. We repair or replace the item; if that is not possible, or you prefer it where the law gives you the choice, we refund it or reduce the price. We pay the shipping. A brand guarantee, if any, comes on top.

what is not a defect?

Normal wear, damage from use against the care instructions, and natural variations in handmade or natural materials.

liability & law

what is Tummy Time liable for?

We are fully liable for damage we cause intentionally or through gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and under the Swiss Product Liability Act. For slight negligence, liability is excluded as far as the law allows. Mandatory consumer rights of your country remain unaffected.

which law applies?

Swiss law, without the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). As a consumer, you keep the mandatory protection of the country where you live and can sue at your place of residence. Otherwise the courts in Meilen are competent.

can these terms change?

Yes. The version in force when you placed your order applies to that order.
